This is a key role within the company. Besides heading up and developing the digital team you will work closely with the MD to push the company forward and develop and strengthen the brands digital offering.
You will need to be equally digital and business minded. You will have strong communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to brief and guide the development, design and social teams. You will be diligent, focused and dependable, able to build strong relationships and be a team player.
You must be able to put together and manage digital campaign strategies and advise clients both existing and new on all things digital. Be the main point of contact across client and agency account services for all digital initiatives and projects. Be pro-active with clients finding weaknesses and recommending solutions. Internally you will be business savvy and be able to see opportunities for growth, implement initiatives to expand the business and capitalise on Übers creative and brand strengths to bring its digital department in-line and alongside.
You will be familiar with and able to describe modern digital terms in detail to all walks of life. Such as; UX, user journeys, responsive design and social media strategy. Have an awareness of past, current and future trends. Such as; parallax, material design, chat bots, digital assistants, XR, blockchain & machine learning. You will also understand the differences between; Mobile-first vs Desktop-first, Hybrid App vs Native App, Waterfall vs Agile, Wireframe vs Prototype, On-page SEO vs Off-page SEO. Additionally, you will be expected to understand the best practices when approaching social media campaigns, strategies and media spend.
