Über was invited to produce the brochure for BAFTA’s third annual Film Gala, the aim of which is to raise money to help new and emerging talent breakthrough into the film, television and games industries and encourage the very best creative work. This supports BAFTA’s belief that everyone with talent, regardless of background, deserves the chance to shine.

The most lavish brochure to date was designed, crafted and printed for this prestigious event. The cover featured a bold combination of a gold foil film reel icon on a rich red stock. Typography intertwines with the film spool’s spokes to convey a sense of the importance of BAFTA connecting young people with industry mentors. The theme of connectivity continues throughout the brochure with the film reels weaving in and out of the typography and the premium feel was enhanced with a tactile cover and contrasting smooth, perfect bound inner pages.
